SUST ready to introduce new dept

SYLHET, Sept.10: Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) will open a new department named 'Mechanical engineering' in the 2015-2016 academic session, sources informed Wednesday.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has already approved the proposal for 5 posts for the new department. These are one professor, assistant professor and 2 lecturers, one computer operator and one office assistant. "I have already handed over the UGC approval papers to the Sust's examination committee," said the Vice-chancellor Professor Md. Aminul Haque Bhuiyan Thursday.
