Teachers\\\' entrance training held at RU

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Mar 23: The day-long entrance training programme for the newly appointed teachers of Rajshahi university (RU) held Sunday, said a press release.
Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, RU, organised the programme at the university senate building. Vice Chancellor Prof. Muhammed Mizan Uddin handed over the certificates among the fresher teachers as the chief guest.
Director of Institute of Bangladesh Studies (IBS) Prof. Md. Shahidullah, centre Deputy Director Prof. Abdullah Bin Shams Tareq and teacher of Sociology department Saleh Mahmud delivered speeches in the programme while the centre director Dr. Biswajit Chandra was in the chair.
Among others, deans, departmental heads and institute directors were present in the programme. A total of 35 teachers including 32 RU teachers and 3 teachers of Varendra University (VU) received certificates here.
