Three die from electrocution

JAMALPUR, May 24 (BSS): Three persons were killed and five others injured from electrocution at Islampur upazila in the district on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Hasan, 25, Taher, 20, and Obaidul, 22 hailed from Saghata upazila in Gaibandha district.
Sub-Inspector of Islampur police station Md Rafiqul Islam said some labourers of Nirman Koushal, a contractor organisation, were setting up a new electric line of Jamalpur Palli Bidyut Samity at Madhya Dariabad around 3:30 pm.
Suddenly, they came into contact the live electric wire, leading three persons dead on the spot and five others injured.
