Three robbers held

Another message from Our Correspondent adds: The members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three armed robbers from Hudairpara village under Sujanagar Upazila of the district Friday. RAB seized three sharp weapons from their possession.

The arrestees are Md. Rafikul Islam, 35, son of Md. Osman of village West Balatari and Md. Eshar Ali, 36, son of Montaz Ali of village Shimulbari in Fulbari Upazila in Kurigram district, Md. Shukur Ali 50, son of Abdul Aziz of village Hudarpara in Sujanagar Upazila of Pabna, RAB said.

Acting on a tip off RAB-12, Pabna camp raided near the residence of Shukur Ali of the village at about 4am on Friday. During the drive RAB arrested them and recovered machete, an axe and a sword from their possession. They were taking preparation for robbery. The arrestees are accused of many cases RAB said.
