PANCHAGARH, July 8 (BSS): A boy and a woman were killed by a thunderbolt in Debiganj upazila of the district this morning.
The victim Promoth Chandra Roy18, son of Khogendra Nath Roy was a resident of village Baniapara of the upazila.
Family members said Promoth was standing at the corridor of the house in the morning and suddenly a lightning struck him and he died on the spot.
The female victim Anjoli, 32 of village Kamatpara was killed when a thunderbolt struck her in the morning.
Anjoli was wife of Mongol Roy also of Debiganj upazila of the district.
