JESSORE, Jun 25 (BSS): Jessore pourasabha yesterday announced a budget of Taka 1.30 billion for 2014-15 fiscal giving special allocation to the development sector.
Poura Mayor of the pourasabha Maruful Islam announced the budget at Jessore Poura Community Centre.
The mayor in his speech said no tax has been imposed in the new budget.
Panel Mayor, secretary, councilors, journalists, local elites and officials of the pourasabha were present at the function, among others.
A total of Taka 1.08 billion has been allocated in the budget for the infrastructural and environmental development and beautification of the pourasabha.
