Toddler drowns in Chandpur pond

CHANDPUR, Mar 24 (UNB): A three-year old boy drowned in a pond at Montala village in Faridganj upazila on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Fahim, son of Motahar Hossain of the village.
Family sources said Fahim fell into the water body unnoticed around 9 am while playing near the pond.
Later, locals traced the body floating on the water and rushed it to Haziganj Upazila Health Complex where the doctors declared him dead.
