Trader found slaughtered in Sylhet

SYLHET, Apr 26 (UNB): Police recovered the slaughtered body of a clothe trader from the bank of the Dhala river in Goainghat upazila on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Akul Mia, 35, son of late Dudu Mia of South Pratapur village in the upazila.

Police said getting information from locals, police recovered the slaughtered body of Akul half a kilometer away from his house at about 7:00 am and sent it to Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue.

Police said miscreants might have killed him on way to his home from his workplace at Hazipur Bazar at some time in the night.
