LAXMIPUR, Feb 18 (UNB): A trader was stabbed to death by some
unidentified miscreants in Kamalnagar upazila here early Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Abul Kashem, a poultry trader and a resident of Saheberhat area.
Quoting family sources police said a group of miscreants swooped on Abul Kashem and stabbed him mercilessly near Killar Rasta intersection while he was going to Charkadia for buying chicks in the wee hours of Wednesday, leaving him dead on the spot.
The miscreants also looted a mobile phone set and cash from his possession.
