Traffic constable killed in Feni road accident

FENI, Dec 4 (UNB): A constable of traffic police was killed as a truck crashed into him on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in the district town on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mainul Hossain, 50.

Sources at the highway police said the moving truck hit Mainul while he was performing duty at Mohipal on the road around 7am, leaving him injured critically.

Mainul died on the way to hospital.

Police seized the truck but its driver managed to flee the scene.

A case was filed.
