JAMALPUR, Dec 21 (BSS): A man was crushed under the wheels of a speedy train at a level crossing near Jamalpur Railway Station on Thursday afternoon.
The victim was identified as Md Samej Uddin, 65, a resident at the village Kenduarchar in Sherpur district. He was a madrasah teacher.
Railway Police said the accident occurred when Samej Uddin was crossing the railway level in Langalzora area. He died on the spot.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Jamalpur General Hospital morgue for autopsy. A case was registered with Jamalpur Railway Police station.
