Tribesman hacked to death in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Feb 19 (UNB): An indigenous community man was allegedly hacked to death by unidentified miscreants at Bautia Marafela in Godagari upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Ganesh Tudu, 40, a resident of the area.
Officer-in-charge SM Abu Farhad of Godagari Police Station said local people found the body of Ganesh lying in a veranda of his house at about 6:30 pm and informed police.
Later, police recovered the body that bore several stab injury marks and sent it to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy. Police also arrested Ganesh's wife Malati Murmu for her suspected involvement in the murder.
