Two arrested with Yaba

FARIDPUR, Apr 6 (BSS): Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-8 stationed in Faridpur recovered huge yaba tablets and hemp from this town yesterday and arrested two youths in this connection on Sunday.

According a press release issued by RAB, acting on secret information the RAB men led by ASP Md. Shamim Quddus Bhuyian carried on a raid in Guha Laksmipur area of this town. As the RAB men approached the targeted places two suspects tried to flee away on a motorbike but were ultimately caught by the elite force. RAB recovered 165 pieces of yaba tablets, 50 grams of hemp, sale proceeds of drugs Tk 6,270 one motor-bike and four cell phones with eight SIM cards from the possession of Md. Tohel Ahmed, 25 and Shakil Matubbar, 24 both residents of this town.
