Two boys drown in Sirajganj

SIRAJGANJ, Feb 17 (UNB): Two minor boys drowned in the Korotoa River at Ghatina Bridge area in Ullahpara upazila of the district on Friday night.
The deceased were identified as Ahad, 3, son of Helal Uddin and Rashidul, 3, son of Hafizul, both residents of Shahjahanpur village of the upazila.
Family members said Ahad and Hafizul slipped into the river from Ghatina bridge while playing and drowned.
A fisherman found the floating bodies in an area adjacent to the bridge and recovered those around 11pm.
