Two children drown in Barisal

BARISAL, July 24 (BSS): Two minor children drowned in a pond at Lamchori village of Charbaria union under Sadar upazila this noon.

The victims were identified as Mim, 5, daughter of Sukur Ali and Eti, 6, daughter of Mojubur of the same area.

Family sources said the minor girls fell into the pond near their houses while they were playing.

The guardians of the two families collected the children from the pond and rushed them immediately to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital where the attending doctors declared them dead.
