Two dead as speeding bike goes under bus in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Jan 09 (UNB): Two people were dead when a motorbike went under a bus on Puthia-Taherpur road in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi district on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Mahabbat Ali, 25, son of Akkas Ali, and Abu Syed, 22, son of Jeker Ali of the upazila.

The accident occurred at around 10:30 am when the speeding motorbike carrying the two went under a bus of 'MP Safari' as the biker lost control, leaving both dead on the spot, said Saidur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Puthia Police Station.
