Two including a schoolboy murdered in Mymensingh

MYMENSINGH, Apr 21 (BSS): Two persons including a schoolboy were killed in separate incidents in Muktagacha and Dhubaura upazila of the district today.

A schoolboy was chopped to death at village Rambhadrapur in Muktagacha upazila this morning.

The victim was Nayeem Islam 14, son of Abdur Rahim of village Rambhadrapur under Muktagacha. Nayeem was a student of class eight of Laxmipur High School.

Quoting local people Officer-in-Charge of Muktagacha Thana Md. Kamal Hossain said there had been a long-standing dispute over land and family affairs between the neighbouring families of Abdur Rahim and Md. Shahjahan.

In another incident, farmer Surat Ali 60, was killed and four others injured in a clash between two rival groups over a land dispute at Ronasinghpur village under Dhubaura upazila today.

Surat Ali, son of late Adam Ali had a long-standing dispute over a piece of land with his neighbour Anir Hossain, son of late Taju Sheikh.
