Two killed in Barisal road accident

BARISAL, Jun 4 (BSS): Two persons, including a woman were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Dadurhat area of Lakkhapasa union under Bakerganj upazila in the district this morning.

The deceased were freedom fighter Motahar Biswas, 60, of Krishnakathi village and Anwara Begum, 40, of Vorpasa area of the upazila.

Police said the accident occurred when a horse carriage turn turtle in the area around 11am, leaving four passengers of the vehicle critically injured. The injured were sent to Bakerganj upazila health complex where Motahar and Anwara succumbed to their injuries.
