Two killed in Jhalakathi road mishap

JHALAKATHI, Aug 4 (BSS): Two motorcyclists were killed and one was injured in a road accident in Zero Point area of Dopdapia in Nalchhiti upazila here on Sunday.

Police said the deceased were identified as Tarek, 20, and Babul, 30, of Ghosherhat village of the upazila.

Officer-in-charge of Nalchhiti Thana Abul Khaer said the accident took place when a Patuakhali-bound bus hit a motorcycle from behind at noon, leaving one dead on the spot, and two others seriously injured.

The injured were taken to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital, but one succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.
