TANGAIL, Sept 14 (UNB): Two people were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between two trucks at Kudimdhalla in Mirzapur upazila early Monday.
The deceased were identified as Joynal Abedin, 45, a cattle trader, and Jamshed Ali, 50, a truck driver, both hailing from Brahmanbaria district.
Julhash Uddin, inspector of Gorai Highway Police said a cattle-laden truck from Jhenidah collided head-on with a Sirajganj-bound goods-laden truck from Dhaka around 5:30 am, leaving the duo dead on the spot and four others injured.
