CHAPAINAWABGANJ, July 02 (UNB): Two children drowned while taking bath in a pond in Jinarpur village of Gomostapur upazila in the district on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Naim,0 4, son of Shahidul Islam of Jinarpur village, and Siam, 05, son of Mizanur Rahman of Mastarpara village of the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge of Gomostapur Police Station Jasim Uddin said the cousins drowned while taking bath in a pond near their houses.
