Two motorcycle riders killed in road accident

BANDARBAN, Apr 29 (BSS): Two motorcycle riders were killed and another was injured in a road accident at Dalupara area on the Bandarban-Chandraguna road under Sadar upazila today.

The deceased were identified as Chawang Marma, 30, and Utoai Marma, 40.

The accident occurred when a motorcycle collided head-on with a jeep in the area this noon, leaving three motorcycle riders injured critically, said local UP Chairman Sanu Prue Marma. Chawang Marma and Utoai Marma died on the way to hospital. Another injured was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital in critical condition.

A case was filed in this connection.
