Two new rural roads inaugurated in Rangpur

RANGPUR, July 9 (BSS): Two new rural roads, constructed at the cost of Tk 1.3 million (Tk 13 lakh), were inaugurated at two separate ceremonies in Paglapeer area under Haridebpur union of Sadar upazila in the district on Wednesday.
Sadar Upazila Chairman Nasima Zaman Bobby formally inaugurated the newly constructed roads by unveiling plaques as the chief guest to fulfill her pre-election pledges of implementing five development projects in the area.
With Chairman of Haridebpur union Iqbal Hossain in the chair, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Priyosindhu Talukder attended the ceremonies as the special guest.
Local union parishad members, local Awami League leaders and activists, civil society members and hundreds of people from all walks in the society attended the ceremonies.
The roads were constructed from Sultan's House point on the Betgari Road to the Sattarer Mour near Birabari and from the Chamber of Dr Ekhlas on the Paglapeer- Syedpur Road to Mohona Kindergarten and Girls School point.
