Unauthorised structures demolished to construct railway bridge

BRAHMANBARIA, Feb 15 (BSS): Bangladesh Railway authorities demolished about 100 unauthorised establishments at Ashuganj railway station area to pave the way for constructing second bridge over Meghna river.

The demolition was carried out at the Ashuganj railway station area yesterday led by executive magistrate Sandwip Kumar Singh to acquire the land for setting up the second railway bridge at Ashuganj under Brahmanbaria district.

The unauthorised different types of structures were erected on railway land in the area.
