Uncle beaten to death by nephew in Pabna

PABNA, Apr 16: An elderly man was beaten to death by his nephew over land dispute in Ishwardi Upazila of Pabna.

The victim Md. Hafizur Rahman Khan, 75, of village Golbthan in Ishwardi Upazila succumbed to his injuries in Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on Tuesday night.

Officer in charge of Ishwardi police station Biman Kumar Das said Hafizur's nephew Mizanur Rahman Ritu, 33, beat him up mercilessly on Monday night over a family property dispute.

At the critical condition he was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on Monday night.
