Wheat cultivation nearly complete in Nilphamari

NILPHAMARI, Dec 27: Cultivation process of wheat including preparing the land, spreading seeds over it and so on has almost completed in Nilphamari district. This year cultivation target of different winter crops has come late in the district's DAE office.

However DAE has set the target of cultivation of wheat in 4373 hectares of land in the district this year to produce 13338 MT of wheat at a production rate of 3.05 MT per hectare. While contacted one official of DAE said sweeping cold is favourable for cultivation of wheat and targeted production is expected this year.
