Wife killed by husband

SAVAR, Jul 25 (BSS): A housewife was killed allegedly by her husband and in-law over dowry at Modho Rajason area of the district today early in the morning.
The victim was identified as Beauty Akhter, daughter of Haji Habibur Rahman.
Police sources said Beauty had got married two years ago with Sheikh Sadi.
During the marriage, Beauty's father paid cash Taka 5/6 lakh to Sheikh Sadi as dowry for considering peace of his daughter.
Recently Sheikh and his family members demanded more money and tortured Beauty cruelly. At on stage of their torturing they strangulate her to death for dowry.
Being informed police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
