CHITTAGONG, July 14 (BSS): A housewife allegedly committed suicide in Khatunganj area, under city's Kotwali Thana on Saturday night. The victim was identified as Trishna Das, 19, wife of Tapash Das, a resident of the area. Police out post of Chittagong Medical College Hospital told Trishna committed suicide by hanging herself with a ceiling fan by a scarf over the family feud. A K Mohiuddin Selim, officer in Charge of Kotwali thana, confirmed the incident to BSS. Police detained victim's husband Tapash Das in this connection, he added. A case was filed with Kotwali thana in this connection.
