Woman commits suicide in Savar

SAVAR, July 17 (UNB): A housewife allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at Gangutia village in Savar upazila of Dhaka district on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Mousumi Akhter, wife of Habibur Rahman, an army personnel and a resident of Orjunlai village in the same upazila.

Locals said Mousumi had an altercation with her husband Habibur Rahman on Tuesday night over a family feud.

Mousumi came to her father's house at Gangutia village on Wednesday morning and committed suicide by hanging herself with a ceiling fan with scurf.
