SUNAMGANJ, Mar 18 (UNB): Police recovered the body of an unidentified young woman from a paddy field at Burairgaon Bazar in Chhatak upazila on Monday afternoon.
Murshed, sub-inspector of Chhatak Police Station, said locals spotted the body of the woman, aged around 30, in a paddy field of the area at about 2:00 pm and informed police.
Later, the police recovered the body and sent it to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Police suspected that miscreants might have killed the woman and dumped the body there.
