Woman killed as human hauler hits her in Pabna

PABNA, May 7 (UNB): A woman was killed when a human hauler (Nasiman) hit her at Chinakhara on the Dhaka-Pabna Highway in Sujanagar upazila on Wednesday night.

The deceased was identified as Piara Begum, 48, wife of Ashraf Hossain Ashu, a resident of Gobindapur of the upazila.

Police said the accident took place in the area at about 8:30 pm when a human hauler hit into Piara while she was crossing the highway, leaving her dead on the spot.

Officer-in-charge of Sujanagar Police Station Habibur Rahman confirmed the accident.
