Woman killed in Magura road accident

MAGURA, Mar 12: A woman was killed in road a crash in Magura Wednesday night.

The deceased was identified as Rahela Bagum (55), wife of Moshlemuddin of village Goarerhat under Shalikha upazila in the district.

Magura highway police sub-inspector Oaziar Rahman informed, the accident took place in Arpara area on Magura - Jessore road around 11pm when a Magura -bound bus from Jessore hit Rahela while she was crossing the road.

Rahela fell down on the road and she was run over by a bus.

A case was filed with Magura Shlaikha police station in this regard. Police arrested the bus driver and seized the bus. The arrested driver was identified as Mouniddin (35).
