Work on 46-foot bridges nearing completion in Mymensingh

MYMENSINGH, Jun 19 (BSS): Construction of total 46-foot bridges in different areas of the district is nearing completion.
The government is implementing the projects at a cost of Taka over 98 million under the supervision of District Relief and Rehabilitation Office (DRRO).
DRRO sources said bridges are being constructed for developing rural communication network and creating connectivity in the upazila area for the development of rural economy.
Sources said, of the total, three bridges are constructing at a cost of Taka over 6.7 million in Haluaghat upazila, three in Phulpur at a cost of Taka over 6.7 million, two in Gouripur at a cost of Taka 45 lakh, three in Sadar upazila at a cost of Taka over 6.7 million, three in Muktagacha at a cost of Taka over 4.4 million, five in Fulbaria at a cost of Taka over 6.7 million.
Besides, eight bridges in Trisal upazila at a cost of Taka over one crore 6.1 million, four in Iswarganj at a cost of Taka over 6.5 million, three in Nandail at a cost of Taka over 6.7 million, seven in Gaffargaon at a cost of Taka over two crore, three in Bhaluka at a cost of Taka over 6.7 million and two in Dhobaura upazila at a cost of Taka over 4.4 million.
Officer of DRRO M Habibullah told BSS that 90 percent works have already been completed and the rest are likely to be completed by the current month.
