Work on academic buildings progressing in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA, July 16 (BSS): The construction works of two-storey academic buildings in five colleges is progressing satisfactorily at a cost of Taka 8 crore and 66 lakhs.

The Education Engineering Department of the Ministry of Education is implementing the schemes, Chuadanga district Education Engineering Department office source said.

The academic buildings are being constructed at Chuadanga Government College, Chuadanga Poura College and Barasholua New Model College of Chuadanga Sadar Upazila, Khashkorora College of Alamdanga Upazila and Uthali College of Jibannagar upazila.

Meanwhile, 85 percent construction works of the academic buildings of Chuadanga Government College and Chuadanga College have been completed and the rest works are expected to be completed by October next.

Sixty percent construction works of the Academic Buildings of Barasholua new model college of Chuadanga Sadar Upazila, Khashkorora College of Alamdanga upazila and Uthali College of Jibannagar upazila are expected to be completed by January 2015, the source further added.

After completion of the construction works of the new academic buildings of these colleges, the facilities for education of 2, 500 students would increase, the source further said.
