Work on Puliadaha Bridge begins in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Jan 12 (BSS): Construction work of a much-expected bridge over Puliadaha canal at Bhannaterbazar area under Kachua union of Shaghata upazila in the district began on Sunday.

Local Government Engineering Department is implementing the work at a cost of Taka 43.09 million under Sustainable Rural Infrastructure Improvement Project funded by Asian Development Bank. The work might be completed by December 2016, said an official of the department.

Deputy speaker of the Parliament and local lawmaker Advocate Fazle Rabbi Miah formally inaugurated.
