Worker hacked to death in Jessore

A mill worker was killed by some miscreants at Noapara under Abhaynagar upazila in Jessore district on Sunday night. The deceased was identified as Ariful Islam Nishan, 36, a worker of a jute mill at Noapara and son of Sujauddin of Moallemtola village of the upazila. Officer-in-charge of Abhaynagar Thana Mollah Khabiruddin said unidentified miscreants hacked Nishan indiscriminately with sharp weapons near Jessore Jute Industry (JJI), leaving him seriously injured. Locals rescued Nishan and rushed him to the upazila health complex where doctor declared him dead. A case was filed in this connection, according to BSS.
