Workshop on agri development project held in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Nov 30 : A day long first National Workshop-2014 on Combined Agriculture Development Project (Marketing Component) of Pirojpur-Gopalganj-Bagerhat was held at Circuit House conference room in Gopalganj town on Saturday.

The workshop was organised by Pirojpur-Gopalgnaj-Bagerhat Combined Agriculture Development Project and Krishi Marketing Odhidoptor Bagerhat.

Md. Mahboob Ahmed, Joint Secretary and Director, Development of Agriculture Marketing, Dhaka and Md. Khalilur Rahman DC, Gopalganj spoke as the chief and special guests respectively.

Pronab Kumar Roy, Project Director (Deputy Secretary) Department of Agricultural Marketing (DAM) presided over the chair.

High officals, agriculture consultants, journalists, district and upazila level agriculture officers, farmers, NGO representatives, UP chairman and local elite participated in the workshop.
