Workshop on CALIP held in B\\\'Baria

BRAHMANBARIA, Mar 9: Haor Infrastructure and Livelihood Improvement Project (HILIP) under Local Government and Engineering Department (LGED) organised a day-long workshop on "Climate Adaptation and Livelihood Protection (CALIP)" at the LGED auditorium in Brahmanbaria on Monday.

Brahmanbaria Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. Mosarrof Hossain inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest. LGED Superintending Engineer of Comilla region Md Shah Alam presided over the inaugural function and LGED executive Engineer Md Sakhwat Hossain delivered the welcome address.

Among others, HILIP Project Director Gopal Chandra Sarker, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Md Azad Sallal were also present on the occasion.

All upazila nirbahi officers, officials of fishery, livestock and agriculture, teachers, NGO workers, stakeholders, journalists of print and electronic media attended the workshop.
