GOPALGANJ, Dec 1: The World AIDS Day-2014 was observed in a befitting manner in Gopalganj today (Monday).
Health Department, Gopalganj brought out a colourful rally and chanting slogans. The rally paraded through the main roads of the town. Doctors, nurses, medical students, NGO workers, government high officials, journalists and local elite attended the rally.
After the rally a discussion meeting was held at Gopalganj Sadar Hospital Conference Room in the town. Md. Khalilur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Sheikh Jahid Hossain, Additional S.P, Gopalganj were present as the chief guest and special guest respectively.
