World Cancer Day observed in Magura

MAGURA, Feb 4: World Cancer Day was observed in Magura Wednesday.

Voluntary organization Rova foundation took different programmes to observe the day including a rally in the town. They arranged a discussion meeting at their own office in Magura town.

Magura district NGO coordinator Abdul Halim spoke in the meeting with Rova Foundation executive director Kazi Kamruzzaman in the chair. The speakers said many of us think, death is an inevitable result of cancer. But this is not entirely true. Cancer is curable if it comes under treatment at early stage.
