Yaba peddler gunned down in Cox\\\'s Bazar

COX'S BAZAR, Feb 3 (UNB): A suspected Yaba peddler was shot dead by his rivals at Alikhali village in Teknaf upazila on Tuesday morning.
The victim was identified as Borhan Uddin ,17, son of Jamal Uddin, a resident of the same village.
Officer-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station Ataur Rahman said Borhan had an altercation with another suspected Yaba trader, Shamsul Huda, over sharing the money of their illicit trading.
At one stage, Shamsul opened fire on Borhan, leaving him dead on the spot at around 11:30 am.
Police later recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. A case was filed.
