Youngman killed in Sirajganj clash

SIRAJGANJ, Aug 2 (UNB): A youngman was killed in a clash at Chandidasgati village in Sadar upazila on Friday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Rana Khan, 30, son of Habibur Rahman of the village.
Police said Habibur Rahman and Motaleb Hossain, owner of a rice mills, had been at loggerheads over the demarcation line of their house. As a sequel to the enmity, both groups locked into an altercation around 3:30 pm, leading to a clash.
At one stage, the supporters of Motaleb beat up Rana and his brother Rony with sticks, leaving them critically injured.
Later, Rana died on way to Bogra Medical College Hospital while Rana was admitted to Sadar hospital.
Habibul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said police arrested four people including two sons of Motaleb in this connection.
