Youth chopped to death in Jessore

A young man was hacked to death by some miscreants at Dumdia Ampara village in Jessore Sadar upazila on Friday night. The dead is Alamgir Hossain, 30, son of Abul Kalam of the village. Police said a gang of miscreants stormed Hossain’s house around 10pm and indiscriminately chopped him with sharp weapons. The miscreants left the scene after confirming his death. On information, police rushed in and retrieved the body. The law enforcers sent the body to Jessore 250-bed Hospital for autopsy, according to a news agency.
