Youth chopped to death in Tangail

TANGAIL, Mar 20 (BSS): A youth was chopped to death by some miscreants at Maijbari village under Kalihati upazila here on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Abdus Sattar, son of Kandhu Mandol of the village.

Sub-inspector of Kalihati Thana Akbar Hossain said a group of armed miscreants attacked and chopped him with sharp weapons.  He died on the spot. Later, they threw away the body into a marsh of the area.

Being informed, police recovered the body after three days of his missing.
