Youth found dead in Jhenidah

A young man was found dead at Gabla village in Shailkupa  upazila in Jhenidah on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Faruk Hossain, 30, son of Makbul Hossain, a resident of Halpara village of the same upazila. Family sources said Faruk went out of the house after iftar on Monday and since then, he had not returned. Locals spotted his body in the area in the morning and informed police. Police recovered the body at about 10:00 am and sent it to hospital morgue for an autopsy. Police also arrested Faruk’s wife Joytsna Begum and Iqbal Hossain, with whom she reportedly had extramarital affair. Police primarily suspected that Faruk might have been killed over his wife’s illicit love relation. A case was filed in this connection, according to UNB.
