JOYPURHAT, Dec 6 (BSS): A youth was killed by some miscreants on the bank of river Srinadi of Vadsa area of the district town on Friday evening.
The victim was Al-Amin, 25, son of Ibrahim Hossain of Shantinagar area of the town.
Police said the miscreants chopped Al-Amin with sharp weapons while he was gossiping with some friends. Amin died on way to hospital.
Officer-in-charge of Sadar Thana Abdur Rashid said the murder took place as a sequel to previous enmity. A case was filed in this connection.
