Youth killed in Rangamati road accident

RANGAMATI, Jan 3 (BSS): A youth was killed and three others were injured in a road accident in Kalabagan area on the Rangamati-Chittagong highway here on Friday.

The deceased was Abdul Khalekh, 27, son of Mohammad Miah of Purba Charandip area under Boalkhali thana in Chittagong district.

Police said the accident occurred when a bus collided head-on with a CNG run auto rickshaw in the area, leaving CNG passenger Khalekh dead on the spot and three others critically injured.

The injured were sent to Rangamati Sadar Hospital.
