Youth loses arm attacked by tiger in Gazipur

GAZIPUR, Apr 15: A youth lost his arm attacked by a tiger at the tiger zone of Bangabandhu Safari Park at Bagerbazar area in Gazipur Sadar upazila while visiting the park on Tuesday noon, on the occasion of Bangla new year. The youth was identified as Ankan, 26. But the details of his identity could not be known immediately.

Caretaker of the park Shibu Proshad Bhattacharjee and forester Krishna Kamal Mojumder said, Ankan came to visit the park with his relatives on Tuesday at noon.

At one stage, he entered his hand through the iron net standing on the boundary wall of tiger zone of the park. Instantly a tiger attacked on his left hand and severed it from his the body.
