Youth\\\'s body recovered in Satkhira

SATKHIRA, May 20 (UNB): Police recovered the body of a young man with the throat slashed from a water-body in Gorkumalpur in Shyamnagar upazila of Satkhira on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Hossain,22, son of Rafikul Islam Gazi, a resident of Ghosalkhali village of the same upazila.

Sagir Mia, officer-in-charge of Shyamnagar thana, said miscreants slaughtered the young man, tied up the body and dumped it into the water body in Padyapukur union.

Being informed, the police recovered the body and sent it to Satkhira sadar hospital morgue.
