PARIS, Sept 21 (AFP): Six people were injured Sunday in a car bomb blast outside a police station in Ondarroa, in northern Spain's Basque country, in the second such attack in the region within hours, officials said.
The Basque separatist organisation ETA was suspected of being responsible for both blasts. The car bomb at Ondarroa "lightly injured six people," three policemen and three civilians, the Basque interior ministry said. No-one was injured in the earlier blast.
The police station is located some way away from housing, near a football ground and a car park. The zone was still cordoned off early Sunday.
No warning was received ahead of the 4.30 a.m. (0230 GMT) blast, which caused substantial damage, the ministry added.
